Prince - in Barbershop 2...

LOL, anybody see this?? It was allright, a little more serious than the first one tho'. The Man was referenced twice - once during the beginning credits as they showed pics of hairstyles of different celebrities throughout this century. I think the one they showed of Prince was during the Dirty Mind or Controversy days. Then within the first five or ten minutes, the guys are having a debate about the different shades/biraciality of Black people. One person asks: "What about Prince?" Cedric the Entertainer replies: "Prince ain't Black, he's part Cherokee or sumthin like that!" I almost choked on my soda at that one - Aaahhh, the ongoing debate over Prince's true ethnicity...It's even in the movies!

Thats quite an interesting point actually.. I was watching a documentary the other day when some black/british people were trying to find out whether their routes were in Africa or the Carribean and the results were quite shocking in that their one of their dna was mostly European. The expert was saying that after years and years of travel and integration the genepool being integrated and races being able to travel etc, you would find that many people were 'a mix of something' and that in years to come this really would be everyone.. very intrestin

Since we all evolved around the same time, how can anything be "pure"?

That's just silly.

Yup, rather you like it or not. Do the history and genetic homework, as I did, you'll see...

This is the exact reason why racism is so incredibly stupid. We're all mutts when you come right down to it!!! Everyone has a hodge-podge of genes in them. No such thing as "purity" in races. Its a (really dumb) myth.
