Old fan needs update! Help! Hey guys!
Well, I've been a fan of Prince for... well... what now seems like forever, but honestly, ever since he went independant, I just kinda lost track of his music and progress... Seeing him at the grammys playing Purple Rain really moved me and reminded me of his purple greatness. I guess that Grammys performance was a smart move huh? It's just that I never really got into the experimental / religious, instrumental only stuff. I like my Prince wild, controversial, hot and crazy! As lame as it may sound I'm really kind of hoping that rumor is true and that he will resign with a major. He needs more public awareness, media coverage, marketing strategies, videos, etc...I'm really hoping for a major come back! We need him to show the world pop and funk music is better than Justin, Britney, Christina etc... Now I need a couple of answers. Can you guys update me? - I seem to always miss Prince's concerts and shows. I always find out too late. I live in LA, how can I find out sooner? - What happened to Mayte? - Which albums has he released lately? - Who's the new wife? I need updates! Thanks! | |

I'd check this site for the latest, to be honest. I don't think it will be long before NPGMC is no more! His marriage to Mayte was annulled and after a brief fling with Tommy Lee she is now a model/bit part actress. I think they are still good friends and he called her to tell her about his new wife, Manuella. The jury's still out on Mani. Don't rush out and buy NEWS. If you like your Prince "hot and crazy" you won't get this. A whole lot has changed. Just sit tight and see what the next couple of months bring. The man is back, back back! | |
