Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic, the song I guess this has been covered before, but I've never seen it myself. Does anybody know the relationship between the recordings for the Batman-era Rave and the two versions found on the Rave Un2/In2 CDs? What I mean is, are the recent releases taken from the original recordings? Which of the two released versions are most similar to the original?
I don't know whether the Batman-era version is circulating, has it come to light in recent years? Looking forward to hearing people's wealth of knowledge on this, and the history of Rave recordings Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Looking forward to hearing people's wealth of knowledge on this, and the history of Rave recordings The officially released version is, I think, an edited and remixed version of the 1988/89 version. The original is about a minute longer and includes strings and other instrumentation. The official version is also a lot sparser, sound wise. I like them both. The only circulating of the original version is, sadly, in poor quality. A snippet of the song appears on a mix of "Batdance". Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.
