On K104 in Dallas this morning, the gossip reporter, Flo Anthony, reported that Prince is in LA recording music and shopping around for a major deal. She said that he has been spotted over at BMG offices off and on for the past few weeks, but no deal has been made yet. She later on went to say that they will probably have him on J or RCA.

She is usually right on the money with her reporting. We'll have to wait and see.

if this is true than it would look like he is still trying 2 work a deal with clive davis... maybe 2nite we will get a suprise emale from NPGMC!!

And sabaisabai, at the Golden Globe party, Prince said there woud be a press release soon. Now how Prince defines soon, well, Time is a trick....

Prince is recording out here in Burbank, CA. Flo is right about that - however the main rumor is that he may have re-signed with Warners for a limited partnership in exchange for some master recordings.

That's what I had heard and it makes some sense since he performed at the InStyle/Warner Bros Party.

Oh shit... Lesse if we hear anything else...

I wouldn't mind seeing him on Warner Bros if he got his old stuff back!

BUT "J Records" should be his home! Clive is a good man & a Legend

Hopefully he's out there at Sunset Sound with Susan Rogers!! That was some of the best stuff he's ever done.

Wherever he signs,I just hope that Prince doesn't screw this up.Things are looking great for him right now,and it would be a shame if he ruins it somehow.
