Although it wasn't all that musically exciting, there were some things I was verry pleased with about this performance.

It was nice to see him treated as a music legend after all those years of being treated as nothing but a joke by the media.

There is something quite satisfying about seeing and hearing the Hohner being played to such a wide audience again.

I always love the way those little afterthought guitar scribbles he does in songs like last nights purple rain are more impressive than some guitar players best efforts

Yeah I agree. Since he's been away from the public eye for so long its was more like a novelty surprise.

Wish he did a better song selection, made him seem like some relic from the past.
