moderatorI posted this in another thread but it bears repeating..
It's funny now that I think about it but of the artist performing, Beyonce was the only one who could match Prince's showmanship. Surprisingly, they looked very natural together. They did it Ike & Tina style and for the most part, it worked. Being a fan since 1979, I'd prefer not to have the 6 minute collision course. But when I think of all the kids who will visit their local record store's Prince section tomorrow, I have to say job well done. | |
