Some here have complained about Prince having Beyonce sing with him at the Grammy's. If the intent is to get back in the public eye as part of a comeback plan, then it was a stroke of genius. Beyonce was the big winner tonight - so what's on the front page of the USA Today site - a picture of Prince with Beyonce. My guess is this picture will be on the front page of the USA Today tomorrow. It seems doubtful that Prince gets the front page by himself since he didn't win a grammy.

Prince and Beyonce are also on the front page of CNN.com.

And right now their performance together is the 2nd leading vote getter in CNN's poll of the high point of the awards show.

I was pumped for Prince and Andre 3K, but both performances fell short of what I've seen them do. Poor George Clinton looked and sounded really sad, too.

He performed with Beyonce because I have heard on both parties their admiration for each other. Yes, she has got it going for now, but he wouldn't have performed with somebody who he doesn't admire or who doesn't admire him. No even for PR reasons. You're right he wouldn't have made the front page, but I will say this, I'm glad he's making the front page for good news instead of being all in the news like Michael Jackson is, I repeat the same thing could have happened to him if he wasn't such an extremely private person.
