Prince "hits" that actually are not well known. If Prince tours with songs like:
Joy in Repetition DMSR America Uptown these are beloved songs to us "the Prince fans." But does the genral public know these songs any better than Dolphin, Pussy Control, The Greatest Romance? Just wonderin' what you think.... "New Power slide...."

How about "Pop Life" ?
This was a Top 10 song on the Charts. And when I listen to it, not too many people know who or what it is... "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

I was thinking something similar about the recent stadium gigs (HK, Oz and Hawaii). At first glance the track listings look like hits, but I wonder how many of those songs the general public or casual fan knows? For example:
Shhh, The One, Question of U, Let's Work, D.M.S.R., All The Critics, Days of Wild, etc. All of them are 'hits' in a way for dedicated fans, but not for the mainstream. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Purpleville Yes, sadly even in the Land O' Prince people do not know who or what it is....
