What's shown for that date, March 15th, per www.bbkingclubs.com is:

Los Angeles
Jam Night with GUITAR JACK
(Blues-Show 8:00 pm)

Memphis

Nashville

Thanks, FanofDaFacist for the additional info. The site I mentioned made no notice of one in New York. Interesting indeed.

To answer the original question:

PRINCE SALUTE - HITS, B-SIDES & N.E.W.S
FEATURING:
THE NU-BREED ENSEMBLE (9:30)
RHYTHM REPUBLIK (8:30)
everyanything (7:30)
On Monday, March 15, 2004, the ever emerging Progressive BLACK & pop music community from the tri-state area will 'Salute' Prince Rogers Nelson in celebration of his induction to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame that same night.

The "Nu-Breed Ensemble" will perform songs from current CD N.E.W.S., HITS & B-Sides under the direction of long time NYC Funk protagonist, Mabili Kregg Ajamu. Special guests currently include Mike Farris (Screaming Cheetah Wheelies/Lester Fury), Shelley Nicole (blaKbushe band) & Jen Durkin & The Bomb Squad Horns. Many more additional guests to be announced in the near future.

Special original music guests will include the fast rising band, everyanything @ 7:30pm & Mabili K. Ajamu's veteran-local legendary group, Rhythm Republik @ 8:30pm.

Plus, George Clinton the following week? Man, I need a plane ticket.

The names of these bands sound like duds; whatever happened to "Days of Wild"? They were the best Prince cover band.

This was the one I was referring to. I saw the advertisment in the Village Voice here in NYC. I'll probably go.
