...bring out all those old Prince "fans" who thought his last album was or Emancipation and stuff.
People are gonna start talking about how they always thought he was the best and the latest CD in their stereo is one by the latest pop tart trend singer or the "LETS GET CRUNK" hip hop rapper.
Everyone is gonna try and surround him and pretend like they have been listening to his albums *the ones the general public doesnt know about* and make it seem like they have remained die-hard over him.
This kinda stuff makes my stomach hurt

you know, liking prince is not some exclusive club. just because someone hasn't followed his every piss doesn't mean they can't like him. its not like he made it too terribly easy to follow his freaky ass for the past decade. i hope some new peeps come out of the woodwork for this. maybe then he'll release some real crazy shit...like what's in the vault.

Yeah, I mean you can't blame ppl for not following him after taking a very profitable name in Prince and killing it to become .

That destroyed his image, and a lot of ppl just felt uncomfortable following the guy after that, thinking he'd lost his mind and become too weird.

So, just appreciate the fact that anyone wants him back to begin with.

I am pretty excited to see him perform on the Grammy's again...
