NEWS recorded a year ago today (Feb. 6th)!!! According to the NEWS packaging, the album was recorded on February 6th, 2003. On its first anniversary, any comments on the music, the Grammy nomination etc.?
I'm loving this album more every time I listen to it, and I'd love to know if there is unreleased music from that same session - other tracks, or parts of these tracks that were edited. What music did he record on the days either side? More instrumentals, I wonder... | |

I just got my brand new grand prix...and N.E.W.S was the first cd I played...happy b-day NEWS and congrads on the nomination...definitely a soothing work of art! | |

I'm not too high on pure instrumental albums, but it's solid work.
Nothing jaw dropping, but very good listening for the most part. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I'm a NEWS appreciator - but I don't dig North or South particularly, they're good tracks - loads of talent, but my preference heads to East and even moreso, South (the keyboard funk ) | |
