rumours i guess ... but it would be interesting to see prince and aerosmith together -- weird combo, sort of like the hiphop and rock of public enemy and anthrax a while back ...

but ... if this is true, then Prince will not hit Detroit according to the Aerosmith tour slate. And Detroit, regardless of what band or singer you are, is crucial.

And, if Prince is on tour with Aerosmith, he won't be in Texas in mid-March (15 March). He will be in New York City for the Rock Hall of Fame induction.

Then what is this I hear that Prince has dates already set in Spain for a spring/summer Euro tour? Guess we will only hear it from the NPGMC/Paisley Park itself.

Aerosmith has got to hit Anchorage too and not by-pass it. The only time Aerosmith was in Anchorage and Fairbanks was in April 1998, and Steven Tyler busted his leg on a jump at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage.

Prince was scheduled to perform in Anchorage and Fairbanks for the first time ever during that canx Celebration 2001 North American tour.

Maybe he will show Alaska some love this time around. I know the Prince faithful will like that in the Pacific Rim.

While I am a HUGE Aerosmith fan, and would kill for a bill like that, it's not going to happen. Cheap Trick is the sole accompanying act on the Aerosmith tour this time. Sorry to burst anybody's fantasy bubble.

Nah, I can't even begin to picture Prince with Aerosmith. The two types of music and the audiences they would draw just would not mix imho. Gives me flashbacks of the Rolling Stones fiasco.

this has got to be one of the most bizarre rumours ever!!! if aerosmith did a blues set (which they are obviously capable of) then the two could tour smaller ampitheatres, but i just thought this thread was a joke, albeit an odd one!
