Am I the only one who is tired of people dancing on stage at concerts?

Seriously...am I being a cantankerous boob or does this really get SOOO SOOO tired after like ONE time. I mean, yeah, it's cute at first...and it's GREAT to see whoever gets chosen do their best to shake their thang, and sometimes it gets recorded, and it makes their freaking adult LIVES, you know (understandably!)...but then it's like...on multiple songs at every fucking show now we have to expect a crowd of people to get onstage and crowd around you, blocking our view?
No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Yeah but it's not as bad as back in the PR days. That Syracuse show must have had the whole front 5 rows on the stage!

NPGen2002

As someone lucky enough to get on stage, I'd have to say it's pretty cool that he "shares" the stage with his fans. Not many artists do and to give them an opportunity to see his view is amazing. There's nothing more exhilarating that being on stage in front of thousands of Prince fans and feeling the vibe!!

I definitely think having the fans on stage is a bit played out. I guess if it hadn't become and EVERY concert EVERY time kind of thing, then I think it would still be cool. But once you have fans planning how their going to get on stage and what they're going to do when they get there... well... I think at that point it's time to give a rest.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

As one who's been on stage I can say it's just fuckin awesome as an experiance for me as an individuel. Those who think it's passe,if Prince picked u,would u stay in the crowd?? Get a life and know he's bringin pleasure to people by doin it. He dosn't have too but it's FUN for him as well I'm sure.

As for u Blue Angel, all I ever c u do is Dog Prince. Are u actually a fam or just some self obsessed critic who finds nothing better 2 do with his time than spend your day tryin to feel important by making worthless posts on your obscure
insecuritys.

Don't waste our time.

Yes, I did stay in the crowd nod. I can understand that some people enjoy it to be on stage with Prince and sometimes it really is sweet to watch them having the time of their lives, but nevertheless, it's not adding anything to his shows anymore IMO
