How about Musicology/DMSR at the Grammy's?

He did DMSR at the House of Blues and I think it would be the funkiest thing on TV ever

Yeah but what kind of lyrical embarrassment does he sing in DMSR? I know he can't say The "S" Word.

true that, true that. I always forget about that lyrics shit. Prince says that his songs are like children to him. It seems like he is disowning his family or making them go out with disguises when he changes their lyrics.

Sorry, been kinda harsh. But he does say "Sex", of course. Why shouldn't he? I guess the changed lyrics would be "work your body like a 'ho!"

He might want to mix in something that most people know. Neither of these songs are well-known. I like the idea but will it fly with the Grammy crowd?

That's good to know that he actually sang "Sex" at recent shows...during the American leg of the ONA tour (at least at the shows I saw and/or have boots from) he wouldn't even sing "Do" in "Do Me Baby" - so forgive me for assuming that Sex was off-limits. wink

Now, don't beat me down, but, 1+1+1=3 from the Alladin DVD is OFF the CHAIN. He could step up to that and folks would JAM and wonder if he's lost his mind at the same time.

Just imagine, the curtain still closed, and for the opening of the Grammys you'll hear the melody from DMSR a couple of times before a familiar voice bursts out "Aoowaaah" and the funky ass groove of DMSR kicks in.
The curtain gets lifted and the kiddies know that that's freezer burn compareed to cool.

WORD!

Hey Josh, ain't nothin' goin' on but the rent bro! What's up wit chu?

The only boot I gots is teh BRISBANE soundcheck...shweet!

On second thought 2 this thread, DMSR has no mad guitar parts in it, just pure bass n' drum funk, which is cool, but I think must of us would rather 'P' get it on with 1 of his guitars yeah?...

Anyway, the icing would b 4 'P' 2 open The Grammys and let everybody else eat his dust!

BRING IT ON!!!...

Ronny.

America

or maybe Sign o The Times

both extremely relevant songs still even though they are 19 and 17 years old respectively.
