A friend and I were thinking of putting together a compilation of songs that Prince originally wrote for other artists, such as Cool by the Time, Sugar Walls by Sheena Easton, or Manic Monday by the Bangles. In this age of downloads would people buy such a compilation? Is Prince popular enough to make it profitable? Are there any particular Prince compositions that are impossible to buy on ebay, online, or bootleg?
