Not sure if you're kidding or not, but in actuality that video was shot about a month after Hey Ya blew up on the charts and right in the middle of its video's heyday. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

oops. sorry! im in the UK so the song didnt come over for quite abit after that. i vaguely followed the song, it hought the vid was shot months and months ago though, well not months AND months, but still. oh well, im sure when it comes out my more cynical friends will point this out and go on about how shit prince is. bah | |

It WAS filmed months and months and months ago, and I only remember because at the time I read the treatment of the Musicology video on Housequake and thought to myself "Now that sounds pretty much EXACTLY like Hey Ya!" Cosign. And admit it looks like a tight clip. Thanks a lot, I was actually really excited - bare in mind that I've never seen Prince on TV xcept 4 one per4mance on C4 (UK) which I fell asleep during. I don't care what you think, but I was really excited by that, and I think it does look like a good video, you don't need sound to think it's a good video - it looks much better than many of Prince's others because there's a crowd all round him, it's good quality, he's looking fine, and it wasn't done at Paisley Park.  love2thenines2003 | |
