The induction ceremony takes place in NYC. There will probably be an after show like hes doing in LA for the Grammys.

The museum is in Cleveland but the show is here in NYC, baby!!

Yup, there will be two things happening in Cleveland on March 15.

There was a petition earler in the year, late December, that helped persuade the Rock Hall to host a simulcast at the museum. Founds out that the CEO of the museum is a big Prince fan. I was given word that simulcast plans are currently being hammered out.

As well there will be an afterparty in the Warehouse District. But it all depends because the simulcast can take up to 5 hours to run through.

There will be a lot of Prince fans in Cleveland on March 15 from all over the Midwest, from as far as Milwaukee, Chicago, Erie, Lansing, Detroit, Windsor, Toledo, Akron, Columbus and possibly Dayton and Pittsburgh.

Hopefully this event will be an alternative to those who can't see Prince in New York City or be in attendance for the rumoured afterparty.

There just needs to be an official announcement. Check The Detroit Crawl's hall of fame page for the update and latest information.

The Detroit Crawl will be having its monthly meet and greet in Cleveland in March.

I've been anticipating coming home to Cleveland to see this, and I am hoping it will all work out. The Crawl was going to go to Cleveland in 2003, but Prince wasn't even considered.

Email for more.

I talked to Jim Henke (curator of the museum) on the phone about a week ago (I have his # because, as I've stated a hundred times already, my Prince records will be on display) and he said he wasn't sure wether they were gonna have a simulcast or not. Maybe others know better but I still haven't heard any official word. I would like to go if they are doing it.

EDIT: I just got an e-mail back from one of the assistant Curators telling me that it is happening and it will begin around 7:00pm.

Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.
