This is one everyones mind.. I would suggest playin ure old material, or something else.. not sayin its going to take a while.

I think im gonna set free from the "prince news" and stumble upon it.. thats how im gonna play it this season.

He seems to be averaging 3 releases a year, but NEWS, One Night Alone (piano version) and ONA (live box set) are in my opinion, underwhelming for those of us who thrist for new material.

The Rainbow Children, I will admit, deeply impressed me, becuase of it's blatant jazzy sounds. After a few plays it didn't get heavy rotation in my car stereo--just not my thing.

The beauty of Prince recordings in the 80's was that if you didn't completly dig the album he released, a new single for the next album would be out a half year later. I mean I think the average wait was between 11 and 13 months between albums. And my God, those albums where good.

I've almost given up all hope of those days ever returning. I guess i"m being selfish. It's not enough for him to be a great song writer for me--he's also got to be a kick ass experimentalist and trend setter.

Maybe if Larry Graham would just move away...
