I bought this dvd of a mvie called Raising Victor Vargas and I recommend it to everyone.Col,cute flick.I really liked the story and the characters.I kept looking at the main character,Victor(Vic-tuh),and thinking of how he looks familiar.Then I realized he reminds me of me ,a little,as a young lad,but,more so,he reminds me of Prince.The kid looks like P from the For You and pre-For You days.He has the mulatto(sp?) look and the huge afro.I was just waiting him to pick up an acoustic and bust out "so blue"!

Funny,the girl ,who is the object of Victor's attention looks alot like my first girlfriend.I still remember how her kisses tasted.And the kicker,to me,was that we were both Prince fanatics!!I was in heaven!!!

Thank you,Prince!!You helped me get my first dry hump!!You're the man!!I thank you and my thank you thank you...uhhh!!!

I agree everyone should check out this film. I went to a screening of it her in Los Angeles and the cast and director were there for a Q and A. The grandmother had never acted before, that was her first role. The little sister also, which was amazing because her expressions on her face were so funny. I also recommend "City of God."
