Hall of Fame question

Who will give the induction speech for Prince. My guess is it will be somebody lame who happens to be popular now.

This subject was discussed ages ago, but...I would like to see Carlos Santana do it. Somebody that is worthy. God forbid that it's anyone that just happens to be popular right now. That would make me barf.

Ugh. Hope not.
Is that man capable of putting a coherent sentence together?
And without barking?

I would love for Janet to do it. I think she would give a great speech, and she loves Prince and always mentions him as one of her idols.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

Janet Jackson, Santana, or maybe Lenny Kravitz would be suitable speakers/presenters for Prince's induction. Maybe Gwen Stefani too . . .

Anyone else would just not "get it".

James Brown should do it

I'd like to see TLC (the surviving members) induct Prince.
I'm firmly planted in denial

You guys know that Larry is going to do it. My preference would be someone like Sly Stone.

Getting it, and being able to convey it, are two entirely different things.
