hehehe..agreed!!

I'd probably say 1999, because it's very accessible and yet it's funkier than Purple Rain...though Purple Rain seems to have converted many into atleast casual fans..

just recently i gave a young girl a copy of Purple Rain to try.
although whenever i run into her she tells me she hasnt heard it yet sad
