An insider I know (works for a concert promoter) claims that Prince is shopping two US tour ideas. They were seeking input on which would be the better option: Prince touring with Lenny Kravitz or Prince touring with Norah Jones. Seriously.

Obviously, I would prefer the Lenny Kravitz pairing and think it would be the better draw. Plus, can you imagine each of them guesting on-stage during each other's performances?!

Depending on the style of P's setlist I could see the same thing for Norah as well as LK. Very different vibes I should think.

if we have LK we get a rock show
if we have NJ we get a jazz show

Please, not Lenny. Larry was bad at times on tour, but Lenny could actually b worse.

Now Prince/Norah Jones I cannot c the 'idea' behind such a tour, but if they come up with a concept it could b interesting.

why not all 3! i dont know which id prefer, i suppose norah is more "hot" at the moment, but i think the sets will jar too much. sure its both jazz, but shes far more chilled than prince. saying that suppose it would work as opening act, didnt she open for him at a celebration?

A Prince/Lenny tour would be monsterous and would introduce Prince to a bunch of new fans.He'd also kick Lenny's ass everynight.

lenny is on virgin. norah is on blue note. i can't imagine virgin would allow one of their artists to tour with someone from another label. blue note, being smaller, would probably be down with norah touring with prince as it would be great exposure and boost sales.

but i kinda doubt this info anyway.

Latest info...apparently a greatest hits tour with Alicia Keys. Supposedly, "doing the top 40 hits for the last time" so it sounds similar to Hong Kong and Australia.
