recently i bought the Prince Hits collection on DVD, and it has most of his greatest hits. (Like: Peach, Uptown, 1999, Alphabet St., Sign O' The Times, Diamonds & Pearls, Controversy, Dirty Mind, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Little Red Corvette, I Would Die 4 U (Live), Raspberry Beret, Kiss, Cream, and 7)

I was watching it last night, and I realized that in Diamonds & Pearls, and in Cream (in the beginning) that he kinda runs gay... Do you think he really runs like that???

i've ran like a girl in 6" heels, but thats ok... but he should be used to those damn heels, he wears them everywhere!

He wasn't running like a girl, he was running like Prince in heels. He runs completely differently in gym shoes.

i always thought that the way prince ran was pretty cool,especially in the sign'o the times concert video when he slides and rips cat's skirt off.

also , he's very fast in those heels.

He does run like a girl or at least femininely. i think it's intentional to fit his image. I think he acted gay to turn on women. Gay men turn alot of women on just like lesbians turn on alot of guys. Prince was very intuitive and calculating in his image and I think most of the glittery crap he did was merely a crafting of an image he thought would work in the marketplace. The 80's was the heyday for androgyny. Also I think a lot of his stage mannerisms, especially early on were in tribute to mick jagger who in turn imitated Tina Turner's hybrid masculine/feminine stage style. At any rate, i think it is a put on, a gimmick, like michael jacksons fake high vorice.

i dont really care how he runs in heels, its crazy to me the things he does other than that, dances, splits, jumpin all over the place, you name it, he can do it :LOL:

That run he does at the beginning of the "D & P" video when he is running away from the photographers is especially goofy. He looks like he belongs in one of those silent films from the 30's.
