Does Prince Still Ghost Write?

Just wondering if Prince still ghost writes on songs for other artists. Sometimes, I'll hear something on the radio in passing and think, "That sounds like something Prince would write". I know he used to songs for other people under other names.

No he doesn't.

There's been nothing like that for years, other than the odd no-involvement cover version.

Remember though that Prince is in vogue right now, people like the Neptunes, Felix daHousecat, Basement Jaxx, and a ton of other people all reference the Prince sound.

Andre 3000 anyone?

The most recent was his guesting on the Common LP and the track he did with No Doubt, as far as I know.

wink @ 2the9s

Yeah, he is in vogue now. Then I thought about the fact that if he is, you probably wouldn't know it anyway. When he was ghost writing in the past, it was kept hush hush.

*off topic* I've been noticing that he's getting quite a bit more airplay here in town lately too. That's good.

He also played piano on at least one track on The Id by Macy Gray. She mentioned this in an interview, but I don't think anyone knows which track(s) it was.
