Do some fucking research before saying dumb shit like this... Neversin. Please. I've done my research -I've been a Stevie Nicks fan for almost almost 20 years. SO someone labels it as "alleged" Prince and Stevie. Maybe it's NOT a duet. But gee...isn't Prince a producer as well-did you ever think maybe that was his role in this? Prince and Stevie got together in late 1982 while the Mirage tour (Fleetwood Mac) was in the area and collaborated on various tracks, Stand Back being one of them. ANd I know this because in a 1998 interview with Stevie, shementions Prince picked her up at her hotel and took her to his house and he drove so fast she was afraid he was going to get a speeding ticket. PERHAPS they collaborated on an unfinished track called ALL OVER YOU? They got back together in early 1983 to do more work on Stand Back. Stevie Nicks mentions in an interviewing done in the mid 90s that she passed out on his kitchen floor that night. WOuld you like me to do more research becuase I could write pages of info. on this. IN fact, if you want i'll find the interviews I've mentioned above and send them to you. THat is called RESEARCH! girl, go on! some of the people here think that if something isn't written in an uptown publication (dmsr or turn it up, etc.) it just didn't happen. some other people think that if you try to tell them anything about prince that they disagree with, you must be crazy. don't worry about it baby. you know you're right!

www.buckinghamnicks.net It's the duet with Stevie Nicks recorded around 1983. Pfff... Wasn't the search function going to be reinstated this month?? This was confirmed as a fake years ago, it has no Prince involvement whatsoever... And well the beat that's used in the song is no beat from 1983 or the whereabouts, the beat was first used by "Enigma" somewhere around 1994... Neversin. The beat is sampled from "When The Levee Breaks" by Led Zeppelin, so it did exist in '83 But surely no one can seriously think that this crap is early '80s Prince. Now, if you say he did it last week I might believe you

Please... I already read those things, if you had done some PROPER research you would have found out that this song was already labeled as a fake and had been discussed plenty of times... You people need to learn how to use google before the same dumbass threads and questions pop up every three months... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

"only one thing on my mind, only one place will do...all over you..." come on (no pun intended), if that isn't prince i don't know what is.

I know about the sample... But the sample itself that was used on this track (and every other track that used this beat in the 1990's) is a looped, sped up version that was lifted from a sample record that was released in 1989... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

Like Nersin said, if you search Google, you will find this has been discussed before many times amongst the fans online and it has been stated as a fake (i.e. no Prince involvement). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

it clearly is not. I was the first to come out and say I thought it was a fake. And everyone said that the vocals proved it was legit. I don't think it sounds like Prince at all. And as a studio engineer/producer I listen, dissect, analyze music a majority of the time when I'm breathing & getting paid. I'm glad someone out there hears that it is a phony. I think the Enigma song was Return to Innocence. This was the fist time I had heard that beat as well. I lied.. I first heard this beat kick off the debut Beastie Boys CD in 1986. Totally forgot it was originally Zeppelin. [This message was edited Sun Jan 25 16:11:45 PST 2004 by marcdeondotcom]

well...i'm glad everyone has an opinion on this unreleased track. i am thoroughly convinced (by style and sound alone) that this was a stevie/prince collaboration. its cool if some of you don't agree...one day, when stevie speaks about it, i will laugh at you all!

this is a fan site by a Nicks/Buckingham fan...nothing official. She doesnt seem to be too educated on her idols anyhow, so I wouldn't put much faith in her.
