Musicology due in Summer?

I did a little shopping at the local Indie record store in ferndale, and happen to ask one of the cashiers about Prince's new music, whether or not if he got word on a new Prince Album or some sort of single release and he wasn't quite sure...but did say that Prince is planning to release a new album this summer...he also went on to say that Prince's new music is suppose to be unlike any album he's done in the past few years...with tons of experimentation and all kinds of weird stuff...:/ whatever that meant...but it sounds like the industry buzz is that Prince will be releasing something to the masses this summer.

This guy also said that someone who he knew at BMG/Universal mentioned Prince was signing again, but the deal won't be highly publicized again, like the Arista and EMI Deals in the 1990's.
He's keeping it a low-profile these days.

That's fucking good news, this has made me really happy. It's more likely than not that this is a lie (not on your part, but you know how rumours spread) - But I would love to see Prince release something amazing again, and to the Masses would only make it better, I love seeing Prince on TV - it makes me so happy.

Don't be silly... everybody knows that cashiers in indie record stores in small US towns are THE authority when it comes to future Prince releases.

evillol evillol evillol

I do think we here on the org would be privy to any information about new releases before record store workers though.

I don't think he was talking about 'N.E.W.S' because they already had N.E.W.S on the rack there...so its probably something new that he heard around the way.

Well its nothing fabricated on my part, just thought I'd share...what was told to me.

peace everyone
