Prince As Therapy : An Inspirational List I'm certain that I'm not the only one here that finds comfort and solace in Prince's music during difficult times in my life.
This is a huge part of why I love Prince. The man has written some of the most beautiful, astounding, and inspirational songs that I have ever heard. Here is a list of the top ten songs that lift me up when I'm down and out. I'd love to see your lists. (In no real order) 1. Adore 2. Still Would Stand All Time 3. Emancipation 4. Gold 5. Just As Long As We're Together 6. The Ladder 7. Starfish & Coffee 8. The Morning Papers 9. I Wanna Be Your Lover 10. Let's Go Crazy The Mothership Connection... Funk, Soul, R&B, & Jazz every Monday night @ 8:00 p.m. Listen @ www.wqaq.com (We are off the air 4 the Summer. Returning in early September 2004)

Mine "comfort and solace" Prince music is the Xenophobia Celebration 2002 12CD. Theres so many great performances, and above all, you can sense the warm feeling between Prince and audience. The atmosphere feels so unique somehow...
I always listen to those CDs when im down and imagine how it would have been to be there, in the audience... But i wasnt. And that makes me sad in a way... ********************************************
Phantom, rough on roughnecks... Old Jungle Saying ********************************************

The whole 'Dirty Mind' album is bliss, it's so uplifting and fun and the lyrics always make me giggle. And then there are various other tracks that make me happy too. Prince is the best anti-depressant!
