Technically the songs I am refering to are not bootlegs but songs that were traded alot. I have been collecting for about 6 or 7 years and I know that alot of them came from this guy in L.A. named Brian or Bryan something. He was a really cool guy but I think he died in 1998 or early 1999. He was an amazing trader, but I don't think he ever bootlegged anything. He always said that he was in it for the music and not the money.

Notice that all the great stuff (including rehearsals and unreleased tracks) came out before 1999. Since then, there has only been a trickle. His collection included some great videos as well (I remember him showing me a bunch of stuff like Grafiti Bridge movie outtakes). He used to post songs on his voice mail for other fans to hear. I was one of the lucky ones.

Does anyone know about this guy? Did any of you get to see his collection? Really amazing. He was a sweetheart.

Is he the guy that had the original studio version of Rave that wasn't circulating at all? I remember reading something about him putting it on voice mail. I might be wrong.
