Ya know, I remember going to the 2000 Celebration and standing in like next to people who just couldn't get enough of themselves in regards to how much Prince trivia they knew. How sad.
Anyway. I remember Pierre Igot, and I jumped on the Emancipation mailing list. That was when it just came out, and people were just telling fun stories about how they liked/got into Prince. Then it became something pretty strange... I swear that he's one of the PPs at NPGMC, but I make have been mistaken. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Anyone remember the "Get Well Latext" message on the old NPGOnlineLTD.com web site?
That is Pierre. He used to be known as Latex as well as Latext in certain circles ([w] http://www.latext.com/ ). He told me that he used to be a contributing writer on NPGOnlineLTD.Com/ . Last time when I was in touch with him he is still happy with his wife somemwhere in Eastern Canada. Newfoundland, I'm pretty sure. | |

The Emancipation Files were fun and creative much like Controversy was. Then in 1999 "things got strange" as you say and Prince tried to scare the innocent with hollow threats until he got his ass reamed by trying to tangle with Uptown. As Pierre supported this tyrannical hypocracy he suddenly had (ahem) some unexpected computer problems. | |
