Paisley Park December 1997. Doors opened around 2am after the Target Center show ended. Prince played keyboards most of the evening. Cynthia and Jerry from the Family Stone played horns, mostly soul and funk classics with some Prince tossed in, if I recall. Best show I have ever seen.

Of the probably 3 or 4 aftershows I´ve seen I liked the first Paradiso night in 95 the most.
( Gold Experience era, Amsterdam...Days Of Wild, 18&Over ...18&Over sounded so nice with Morris on the organ...great show...great crowd...) " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I've only seen two.
The best was the aftershow in Sydney at The Basement last October and the second best was the show at The Metro in Melbourne. Both were great performances but the sound was way better in Sydney. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

In Melbourne, he really worked the crowd @ the Metro, everytime he returned to the stage the place exploded. at the basement in Sydney though it was a different story, much smaller club, no barriers, 30cm high stage so there wasn't too much playing with the croud here, but musically, WOW, the best moment was when we all sang PurpleRain -what a moving experience. -"If U don't like,
what U see here -get the FUNK out."

Highlight of the Fillmore Show - The Drum Relay P had w/ JB & Sheila when he was pretending to keep up was great. He's always in his own element during aftershows.
