i met eileen early 90's she run controversy mag, and had a good rapore with prince !, i almost got 2 meet p thru her "a long story".i remember eileen re-mortgaged her house 2 keep controversy mag goin !!!

chris run the revolution shop in leeds i used 2 buy stuff from there b4 madhouse etc,mid 80's !i remember he got 2 meet prince and he cried like a baby ! his fave song was condition of the heart and he shared his birthday with p !i met him at a p convention 1985/86.

I'd love to know what Eileen is doing now, as she was great. Last I heard she was running her own business and has sold all her Prince stuff due to the way she was treated by his organisation.

As for the other guy, I met him a few times and really didn't like him, he was so full of himself. Plus, wasn't he one of the main protagonists in the old Prince party at the Hammersmith Palais con?

I met Eileen many times at concerts. I used to be a Controversy member hope she gets in touch

Eileen setup a ticket agency named "Ticketline Croydon" which she was running when I last spoke with her back in 99. I know she was seriously ill for a while but had just recovered. She's still pretty bitter about Prince and will have nothing to do with the man these days.

As to Dawson. After being arrested for fraud against Prince fans and dissapearing off the face of the earth, he then again appeared in 98 setting up "The Truth" magazine. After only a few issues, the magazine folded into the "Love 4 one another Collective" and many subscribers again lost their money (spot the pattern occuring with Mr Dawson here).

Apparently, he's still involved with NPGMC and was last seen only a couple of years back at the Wembley Record Fair hosting the Love 4 one another stall.

Seems like even though he's ripped off Prince fans multiple times, that Prince still likes to work with him - says a lot about the pair of them really.

Another classic from Mr D was when he asked all the fans to send him their copies of the Black Album and he'd destroy them. Once people had sent them back, he'd then resell the boots !
