One time I said that to a friend of mine as a joke and as a result she almost broke my arm and said "DON'T YOU CALL MY MOM A HAMSTER, TAKE IT BACK!!!"

Once I got her calmed down, I explained the joke and showed her the movie a couple of days later.

She liked the movie but she said "I still don't want you calling my mom a hamster."

Moral of story: Some people are sensitive.
