I am freakin' hawked off at P

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know this goes aginst my whole "if you don't like it stop bitching and go away" ting, but after 20+ years of following the man I think I'm allowed to vent my frustration of the man.

First of all, Prince isn't excatly the hottest ticket in town. His fans are true devoted fans. And what's the thanks we get? We get our websites that we spend our precious time on shut down. We get his lackee lawyers to send us a letter, not even something he wrote himself.
We join his club. A club that monitors our thoughts. A club that promises exclusive things that become availble to the general public. A club that promises things that never materialize. We don't even get an explanation why.

Then there's the Family Jamm thing. Yeah, I know you must never expect the most logical thing from Prince; yeah, I know he never said he would attend; yeah, i know he may have secretly contributed; so-fucking-what?
It's nice to see Mr. "I don't live in the past" truly living up to his hypocritical reputation. Sure, the music in the reflection room may have been a nod to the event, why couldn't peppy lephew just come out and say it?
Why did't he go? What's the matter, Prince?
Didn't want to be on the sme stage with two girls who you screwed over and didn't directly conatact for YEARS? Couldn't be on the same stage as the girl you strung along for what, 10 years? Couldn't be on the same stage with the girl you gave a ring to and suddenly pulled the "I'm not ready" card on?
I hope both him and Morris are very proud of thmeselves. Seeing as though they won the "assholes of the year" award; it must feel great to know that Bill O'reily and Bart lost to you two.

It's a good thing that he's a music genius, 'cause that's the ONLY reason I've been here as long as I have.
I guess I do have the "sickness", he's strung me along all these years with just his msuic. So altimately he wins.

So have a nice day, year, and life, you self-righteous, pedestal-sitting, hypocritical, self-loving, cult-leading, high and mighty prick.

Once again this is the first time I've ever wrote anything like this. And after 20+ years of sticking on his side I feel I'm entitled to air my true opinion on the little purple fucker.

First, of all, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

Second, you'd be hard pressed to find a person on this site that hasn't felt and/or expressed pretty much the same thoughts at some point.

I still say we throw a wonderfuckingful party. All of us get together. It ain't about him, it's about us.
I'm firmly planted in denial

I do know how you feel.

For years I was in the forgiving, supportive, more tolerant camp of Prince fans. I love his music more than any other artist and have for over 20 years.

But like you, I finally couldn't keep separate the "man" from the "musician" and I had enough. He pissed me off and disappointed me one time too many and it finally broke the camel's back.

That's why the majority of my posts around here since I joined are on the negative, bitter side. I just don't give a shit about the little asshole anymore past the music and he's even making that hard to stomach lately.

Just let it out. Seriously. Sometimes you jsut have to, if for no other reason than to just clear your mind a little.

On one of the ONA soundchecks in europe
he did that Telemarketers track...he changed one of the lyrics to ..."wish my ex-girlfriends would stop calling me..."

So U could be right about the Family Jamm no-show.
