i just love listening to mixes and being surprised when DJ's drop P Jams. this mix has made my night!!!

not only did they play the 2 P's...but they then went into The FatBack Band and The Cinematic Orchestra.

...only on the internet!!! why can't american mainstream radio be like this??? AAAGGHHH!

i was lucky and grew up on The Electrifying Mojo & The Wizard (Jeff Mills) here in Detroit.

their DJ sets were legendary!!! i still get chills when i listen to some of those old tapes. i remember the day 'Kiss' dropped. Mojo made a 13 minute-ish mix of it that night! he played all the P B-sides too.

then...Kraftwerk, Run DMC, Talking Heads, Cybertron, The B52's, Funkadelic...

why can't radio be like this now??? AAAGGHHH!!!

i can't even listen to anything on the radio now, besides "talk-radio" and public radio (WDET)...but even they dont play the P(rince)Funk.

ok...i've vented. i feel better now. dublab is jammin on the olskool dub tip now. all is good again
