Him and Larry G. were the worst choice of back up bands to have on tour. I refused to buy tickets several times when he came to my area in '98 because of them...

I would have paid to see Prince but not the fools he drags along with him.

Did anyone else go 2 the 98' tour and want 2 throw a brick in Doug's head when he took up about an hour of time beatboxing, talking and rapping about the one hit wonder that he is-that was 1 hour of time we could of been njoying prince doin' his thing... pimp2

I've always like Dougie.

I recall it was Chaka Khan that supported Prince at Wembley.

"YEAH!!!"

This was my first Prince show ever. It was called 'The One', I think. Now here in Columbus, Doug E. was on stage for a maximum of about 10-15 minutes. Doug wasn't a major part of the show, merely a hype man in my opinion (along the lines of Flavor Flav). He came out at the start with Larry and P, then he was gone. After that, they played stuff from NPS along with old Sly and Larry tunes for about an hour. Then, P played with the NPG for another hour and a half doing all the hits. I left that show dripping with sweat and overflowing with passion for music.

Doug did one song when I saw Prince in 99. Was this a different tour?
