I like COTH better overall and defniitely think it's more of an emotional performance for Prince, but the two things in SISIA that get me every time are the title, and "Love isn't love 'till it's past." Those two lines bring tears to my eyes just about every time and I've owned the album for awhile. | |

Condition of the Heart shows that U can fall in love over and over again and die again and again from a broken heart-Snows in April is sad but someone can only die once Has there ever been a sadder song than Condition of the heart..."...just like Clara Bow..." sometimes it snows in april is one of the strongest songs prince has done very moving i can feel every tear that went into the creation of that song | |

What is that quote from? IT's beautiful... Don't know if it's an original quote, but the song "More today than yesterday" is my favourite Andy Williams tune. "I love you more today than yesterday - but not as much as tomorrow". Also recorded by Li'l Stevie Wonder. I love my cheesy lounge music. sometimes it snows in april
i have had my heart broken before but nothing is more sad than a friend, someone who may very well mirror you, dying and leaving your side. maybe its the acknowledgment of mortality that comes with it but when someone so close to you dies, you realize nothing is forever. and that can be heartwrenching in and of itself. if this song catches me on the right day, 18 years later i still get teary eyed. now, that's a sad song. | |
