Albums with no title tracks

Prince's explanation for recording Shockadelica was that every good album title deserved a great title track. If Prince's albums without title tracks all had title tracks, what name would suit the album?

Prince = With You (a suitable follow-up to For You)
prince = 3 Chains O' Gold
Black Album = Superfunkycalifragisexy
NEWS = North (ok, this is stoopid)

I guess there really aren't many studio albums without title tracks after all...

Feel free to create new title tracks for any other albums too... Only use the album tracks, though.

Incidentally, have you ever noticed that the 1st track on TRC is called 'Rainbow Children', not 'The Rainbow Children'?

Hmm... I never noticed that.

Anyway:

Prince = I Wanna Be Your Lover
prince = The Sacrifice of Victor
Black Album = Rockhard in a Funky Place
NEWS = No comment.

They follow the typical first or last track pattern. And mostly, capture an overall attitude of the album.

- prince - 3 Chains O' Gold (the storyline fits)
- Black Album - hmmm, always like 'The Funk Bible' best, but I would go with Le Grind - such a sexy statement biggrin
- N.E.W.S. - Y.A.W.N.

nod nod nod

The Black Album, I think would be cool when simply
titled "Le Grind".

It kind of represents the mood and feel of the LP.

I agree with all but the Prince album...I would have called that Sexy Dancer or Vidal Sassoon.

I believe prince could have been titled, "My Name is prince," with the first track ironically, "My Name Is Prince."

The Black Album should never be titled. It should never be a Prince release. It should remain that mysterious release that leaked out without information and funked everybody's world.
