Betcha By Golly Prince can be a Wally I have been playin' Emancipation in my car 4 the last couple o' dayz and what getz me is how Vain Prince is on Betcha By Golly Wow. I mean the man feels compelled 2 explain 2 anyone listening that "the words of another seem 2 work out fine". WHAT THE HELL IS HE IMPLYING 
The vanity of it cracks me up  -Prince can't just sing someone elses song he has 2 explain why he's singing someone elses song-like "oh sure, Im doin' them a favour"
U didn't hear Chaka Khan stop in the middle of I feel 4 U and say "yeah, I could of written a song but I thought I'd just sing this one cos I couldn't be bothered" or U didn't hear Tom Jone's break in the middle of KISS and blurt out "hey Im Tom Jones and I don't need 2 sing this Prince song but I felt generous 2day" HOW VAIN OF PRINCE " SAY THIS IN THE MIDDLE OF BETCHA BY GOLLY WOW! If Prince really wants 2 apologise or explain himself 4 nicking other people's songs then he needs 2 explain stealing 3 chains of Gold from Queens Bohemian Rhapsody or Bambi from Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze (where he also got the Purple idea from) or maybe Mr Nelson can explain why he ripped off Hendrix's Cross Town Traffic with his song Tambourine...  | |

Also Prince ripped off Little Richard's Cherry Red with the song Scandalous and the hook in I could never take the place... is from a famous Spanish folk song.
Irresistable Bitch is definately James Brown as is possessed but he's already admitted that and Darling Nikki actually has the original Adams family theme tune mixed in2 it-I know cos I broke it down in my studio. I wonder if anyone on this board will be brave enough 2 come up with any more blantant rip offs by Prince-makes a change from all the "lets kiss his hairy purple ass" threads  | |
