'PRINCE - The musical', would it suck or succeed on Broadway, and would it make a great show.

Just a thought, i was reading about Boy Georges musical failing in the US and wondered how great a musical on our man would be. The music would have everyone up on their feet, it would be fast, sexy and emotional. I think it's a winner and would love to see it happen one day what about you?.

awful... of all of them (the abba musical, the boy george musical, the rod stewart musical, the billy joel musical, the pet shop boys musical) only the abba one (Mamma Mia!) has been at all succesful, and it's cheesy touristy crap.

Someone would mess him all up sigh...who would they get to look like him? love...they songs wouldnt sound like Prince, they'd sound broadway-ish...WHo would they get to scathing play the guitar as hot as Prince does?...having a Prince musical would be a fantastic honor but it may not come out all that great if the director didnt know his ABC's and D's about Prince!

nod

You know an Artist's time is up when he does a Broadway musical featuring his biggest hits randomly inserted into a poor story line with even worse jokes.
