In these past few years he's certainly seems to be doing and saying things that are creating a division of his fanbase, for various reasons.. financial and otherwise.

That's why I think all that "unity" mumbo-jumbo over at the club is nothing more than a crock of shit.

Unless by 'unity' they mean the core group of fans they ultimately want to get whittled down to - i.e. a flock of zombie eyed blind sheep who think Prince can do no wrong and will convert to the JWs and who have lots & lots of $$$.

I think he is creating an ideological class system among his fans - where money goes, I think the only person's bank account he's impressed by is his own.
