DON'T diss Gett Off...that happens to be one of my all time faves from the little dude. Plus I like Cream too...in fact Diamonds & Pearls is a fun little album imo. The only song that gets on my nerves that was a hit is Delirous. Decent song, but it becomes irritating when heard too much. | |

The lyrical concept was based on the phrase "Cream always rises to the top" meaning the 'best' always come out 'ahead'. Prince's take is that if you perservere and work hard, keeping a postive self image (like he clearly has), you will succeed in life. | |
