Prince & Stevie Nicks

I read once in some old liner notes that P did keyboard work for Stevie. It's strange 'cuz the liner notes didn't mention the name of the song. The lines read as if the project was aborted but she commented highly on the work he did with her. Anyone else heard of this? Was the song ever released?

Thanks. I knew that Stevie was very fond of Little Red Corvette and I hear that in Stand Back. Didn't know P was actually involved.

From what I am to understand (if I recall correctly) that Prince added a cool synth line that she loved so much that she gave him a co-writing credit.

In a segment of VH1 Storytellers a while back, Nicks
told the story of "Stand Back". She heard "Little Red Corvette" on the radio, while driving up the California coast on her honeymoon in early 1983. They pulled over went to a local record store and purchased the album cassette and listened to it continuously the rest of the day. After that, she went into the studio and wrote "Stand Back". After the song was finished, she called prince and told him that he had inspired her to write the song. He came to the studio and played keyboards on the song. She says if you play Little Red Corvette you can almost sing Stand Back to the melody. She gave Prince a portion of the royalties for the song.
