I haven't seen him do the splitz since the Rave DVD.

He is now 45/46 and is pretty old by Performer standards.

Can the Purple One still do the splitz-does anyone have proof and also isn't it a bit embarrassing when a guy this old is still trying 2 look young, reckless & sexy when he should be trying 2 look distinguished and sexy-I think Prince should try 2 look more George Benson and less Little Richard-ooh gonna get my ass spanked 4 that 1!

If Price SOTT was 2 take on Prince 2004 in a head 2 head funk out-who would be the last man standing!!

I think he set himself up in that he was so eager to flood us with his talents that he didn't have a long term plan.
Maybe it would heave been better to give us it at a slower rate-this would mean something like this:

See-he would still be on top and still have about half a dozen (6years) of great album releases 2 go!

He did his Little Red Corvette Split during the Hit-N-Run Shows.
If he did like 17 in a row 5 years ago he can still do it~

He doesn't seem to dance at all anymore. I don't know why. I've heard one of his legs gives him problems, but he could still do some dancing.

I did a thread exactly up until this point last year. Except I spelled splits right.

Oh as far as embarrassing...hey more power 2 him. I think the fact that U don't see many do what he's been doing amazingly well is because they just can't! not in the shape or the drugs/lifestyle has robbed there youth and extra energy.

Mr.Benson is his own man as is Prince...I don't feel he needs 2 look like Benson...haha, I think the way Prince has been looking the last 2yrs... dressing & hair...clean U can't fade that.
I mean the brothas not wearing leg warmers anymore.


He does look distinguished and lets not blame him for still looking young. I think good genes and a healthy lifestyle has played a bigger part then makeup. I call it like it is...the man can still pull off stuff and look great doing it. Nobody jokes about Prince as if he looks like a dead man walking like a certain Rolling Stones member.

In 2002 Prince proved during ONA he need not a huge 2 million dollar Lovesexy stage...nor the effects flashes, male dancers, A sexy female dancer, opening acts, fancy dancing i.e. splits jumping off stage, sliding down on a pole, acting out sex, cursing, etc etc...2 blow U away as a serious musician singer, performing power house...yet again rising up 2 a higher level of genius.

Hey do I miss all of that other old-skool Prince fun and nastiness yeah...but his version of "self" today is still amazing and something 2 marvel at. Theres plenty of your hot young artist who still can't hold his jock even at his later age...that says everything~

I think Prince CAN still do the splits, but he chooses not to..it's all about getting over his past successes and looking forward.
