LOOOVE this song. Have been playing it quite often lately in the Shockadelicar.
Ask yerself some information, what the source of yer inspiration be? No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I like this song okay - dig the bell/chime sound, love the little sing-song rappy-rant thing P does in it...heck, I can even tolerate DJ Sunny D or whatever the hell his rent-a-rapper was on that song - wouldn't go so far as "career highlight", but it ain't nuffin to cough at either.

I think this Prince song was a very worthwhile sequel to the Police's De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da. Prince definately outdid the Police in his follow-up song Da Da Da.

It would be a great track with all the vocals eliminated...
The second part is quite good actually, works a bit like a reworking of "Sign 'O' The Times"... not really. But a bit.

I was going to say Mr Happy but I thought that would be too below the belt to be funny. Heeey now, back tha fuck offa Mistah Happy, jigga. Cummin' from the Midwest, passin' every test with a fuzztone remote control... People like different things. Silly Game on the other hand...I'd rather kill my mother than listen to that again. Okay, that's probably a bad example... No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
