Need some help... Going to Vegas for a few weeks next week and I remember when folks were talking about the P look alike show. Does anyone have info on it?

Please post a report after you go, I saw that show many times when I lived there and it was truly great. Talk to the lead man after the show, he really cool.

I saw them there in mid-November, first time and they were great! They go all they way up to Gold Experience and have 3 or 4 sets. Planted myself at the video poker at the bar and got comped a bunch of drinks. The crowd was really into it too, good show.

As many times as I've been to Vegas in 2003, I never knew this band was at the Boardwalk.

I'm going again in Feb, so I'll have to check them out if they are still there.

I checked out the Boardwalk web site and it looks like Purple Reign is still there... Can't wait... I'll report back once I go.

I wanted to see it when I was in Vegas last year for the concert but the show wasn't playing that weekend.

I can't believe it.. I was in Vegas in October ( I got married in a helicopter whilst flynig over the strip) and I never knew about this. Your gonna have to keep me better updated as the happenings in the US.

Well, I just got in from the show. WOW! Jason was excellent! He can sang and dance like our little man and had fabulous costumes. He played a bunch of "hits" like; Head, Let's Go Crazy, 1999, Pussy Control, Sexy MF, Housequake, Little Red Corvette, U Got the Look and so on.

His guitar man was perfect and Morris Day and Jerome showed up to play; The Bird and Jungle Love. He had a dancer who was posing as Diamond... or Pearl.. who knows which one. She was good too.

I only caught 2 acts tonight but it seems like they have 4 acts from 11pm-3am... about 45 hour per act with 20 minute break so Jason can take poloroid (shake it... shake shake shake it :LOL: ) picture with folks from the audience. Yes, I got my $10 pic with him and told him I heard about him from the ORG and he knew it well. I also asked him if he dug his new stuff, and he does.

Well, I'll probably catch him again while I'm here because his show was THAT good. If you are ever in Vegas, go support our homeboy at The Boardwalk; Lighthouse Lounge.
