Currently my fav bass part is from one of the ONA american
soundchecks. I think it was Buffalo, but I'm not sure. Anyway, it's a performance of "4 The Tears In Your Eyes" and it's wicked. The bass is not virtuoso or anything, but it's just so clearly audible and up front. I love that bassline and it fits the song perfectly in that way. It's the performance where Prince starts off and then says "Takumi, can I get some tea?". Also, the bass on "Days Of Wild" live at Glam Slam 94 is amazing. It's a 13:41 min version including pieces of TheExodusHasBegun and Hair. The performance has an external bass orgasm that is unlike any bassplaying I've ever heard him do before or since. Especially on headphones that performance rocks! and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

You talked about that one a couple of times before and still don't know which one it is. On which CD is it?

I'm not sure which cd it's on. I got it on a tape first time round and then I downloaded it on fileshare. All I know is that it's from a performace where he played blistering versions of Interactive before DOW and NOW right after it. Interactive Days Of Wild Now Now is also stretched beyond recognition with a long external musical bit and then parts of a song called "Babies makin Babies" and some cool guitarwork. I'd gladly provide you with a copy, but I've only got it on MD now and I don't have the means of transferring that onto my pc anymore [This message was edited Sun Jan 11 3:42:55 PST 2004 by IstenSzek] and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Climax, the sped up bass solo in La La La He He Hee, Irresistable Bitch, the bassline for She's Always in My Hair, and of course, Let's Work. Speaking of Let's Work, has anyone watched the DVD of Victor Wooten live at Bass Day? In the extras, he talks about his heros and demonstrates some techniques. He plays the hell out of Let's Work for about 30 seconds.
