How about the fact that in the exterior scenes, the sky isn't a natural color and in fact it RIPPLES when people move around? I keep expecting the Land Of Make Believe trolley to go chugging across the bridge so Mr. Rogers can save us from this mess.

I begged my friedn to go with me and he was actually so pissed he left early. I had to agree this was dreadful and made me think that Purple Rain's success had alot to do with the director and the producers and not just prince. This movie was just miserable, and Prince knew it.

I can be happy with the music, the spirituality and some of the performances, I like the sentiment of both the movie and your message.

Perhaps expectations raised too high after the successful Purple Rain and momentous Under the Cherry Moon

Plus this is a sequel to Purple Rain, a movie that basicly carried by amaizing music, one professional actor, a script written by a professional, and directed by a professional.

There are two songs that really "grab" the average listener, EVERYONE had amatuer(I use this the term VERY generously) acting skills, and was written and directed by Prince...PRINCE.

Neva could figure out what or why she said this stupid line..Robin:" Baby, dogs travel in packs of 7 and you betta watch out for this one!" WTF...she said this to Jesse Johnson after seeing Morris and Aura together...go figure!
I liked some of this movie, but I agree it is really CHEESY!
I watch it every BLUE MOON, oh well!
