Prince looking like Paula Abdul with a beard.
Robin's strobe-lit dance. The shite plot. It takes itself waaay too seriously. It could have become a Rocky Horror-esque cult classic if it had been a little more tongue-in-cheek. The sigh of relief when Aura finally dies drowns out the music of 'Still Would Stand All Time'. At the time of it's release in the UK, the following movies were banned on video in the country; Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist, A Clockwork Orange, Last House On The Left and Evil Dead. And yet disturbing movies like Graffiti Bridge were allowed to go on general sale. Oh yes, and if you play the Graffiti Bridge version of We Can Funk backwards, there's a subliminal message that says; 'Why the fuck wasn't the beautiful 1986 version of this song released rather than this piece of shit?'

oy... me too, except that I had four or five of my college dormmates in tow. they'd been forced to listen to the album from when I got to campus in August until that fated day in November when it finally opened. so sad, sad... http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Probably Aura's cheesy-as-f*ck poetry was the worst part of the movie for me. There were some redeeming parts like Morris Day pissing on the plant/setting it on fire etc..and some hilarious one-liners, but none of them were from Prince. Prince seemed really aloof like he was on crack the whole time, and it was such a disgrace how he tried to "direct" a film. What a joke.

***The ridiculous "outfit" that Prince wears during the "Thieves In The Temple" segment.I remember seeing the premiere of the "Thieves..." video and I just knew that the movie was doomed.
***The "Tick Tick Bang" segment is just embarassing. Is this really the way that Prince wanted to "battle" The Time?? But I like the part where Jerome hands Prince a lollipop

How about that unbelivable love scene? Isn't it a bit improper to have sex with an angel? How were they able to "do it" with all of their clothes on? It was supposed to be so spiritual and beautiful, yet he porked her while she was sitting on top of his motorcycle, and they finished outside...
Where was everyone when all of this public sex was going on? Not to mention the fact that Aura stated earlier in the movie that she was just seven years old when God took her, so he was technically screwing a child...real classy...

1. Talk about a shrew! Does that woman need to shout any louder?!?! 2. I won't be number five and I won't be number four cuz baby, I'm the fiercest on all the dance floors. My only name is power cuz this is what I got. If you try to love another -- huh! I think not. I won't be number three and I won't be number two. Look at this body baby, and don'tcha be no fool. I'll be your number one baby. Or I'll be nothing at all! I get embarrassed just watching her 'rap' on my own. A perfectly good reason NEVER to introduce someone to Prince through 'Graffiti Bridge'. x millions. [This message was edited Thu Jan 8 11:42:30 PST 2004 by JDINTERACTIVE] And that reminds me...
