Okay, I haven't been around for such a long time - partly because of dwelling so deeply in underground electronic music I have negletted my first love, Prince (sacre bleu!) and also your questions on rarities (you can still send me questions via org-notes - the e-mail isn't working anymore - but unfortunately I won't be answering them too frequently).

Has there been any new outtake sightings more recently? The rumours were (yes, you know who you are) earlier last year that new outtakes from the 80s would be surfacing quite soon and I have to admit I have no idea whether they did or not. Also, what about brand new ones recorded just recently? Nigh hope, I know but what if?

Please update me. I have seriously cutt off myself from any Prince information for so long... actually I didn't even know he had been touring again!

Most of the outtakes worth having were done in the 80's, and to my knowledge there hasn't been any new ones lately. The last 80's track I got was "Splash" so, I sure hope there's more in that vault and not just Good Question's unreleased second album and home movies of Larry and Tina.

The majority of worth while outtakes are availible, and have been for quite sometimes.. U'll get some dork that will say "new outtake coming soon, im tryin to help the community and get something started! " and it will be some goofy side prodject, produced by prince remix junk.. so dont buy into that crap.

Well where's "Cosmic Day", "Walking in Glory" "Fuschia Light 6min version" I heard these were out, but on what bootleg (if on any bootleg)?

There is *plenty* of unreleased stuff "out there".

It's just upto the people who possess it as to what they do with it.

Yeah I havent seen any new studio boots or outtake botts for a while. I think that the well may have dried up so to speak.

There's also an alternate version of Standing at the Altar circulating...

Theres a big long thread in housequake that suggests someone was gonna put half of Cosmic Day out there,I dont think it ever actually happened though did it , someone was being a tease I think.

Yeah, these were mentioned even 10 months ago - except for the alternative "Standing On The Altar" (but I think I'll have the pass on that one ) Thanks for the update anyway!
