My brother's friend's family had a badass dog named Prince, but this was even before the world knew of Prince (before he even had a recording contract) - so it had nothing to do with him.

back in the day I had a cat named Princess Vanity. She went by Vanity.

My mom works with someone whos daughter is named Viola Rayne. Viola means "purple" Italian. I think that name is horrid.

I didn't go all Princey with my kids' names, but when I was young I got three goldfish and called them Kid, Wendy and Lisa. They must have not liked it much, cause they were all dead within a week.
